RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS AND FARMS

I have two favourite farms I love to buy my Fois Gras or Rillettes is BADFOLS – I am sure you will drive past it many times – Just head into the village and follow the sign that have the ducks on it. The products are delicious!

The other is a farm called De Sirguet – Monsac – Beaumont. I love all the products from this farm as they are don’t seem to have as much fat and “extra stuff” as do some farms. Look for the gold labels at the markets, they are positioned on the square at Lalinde, but I have seen them at many of the other markets too.

Both are delicious on some crackers / French bread with a preserve of sorts and a bottle of fabulous wine from Bordeaux or Bergerac! What a life!

WARNING: The shops in this part of France closes between 12pm and 2pm every day. They re-open at 2pm and are open until 7pm. Some shops are also closed on a Monday! So be prepared!
