Les Chouettes is situated in the Perigord Noir of the Dordogne area, just a mere kilometre from the wonderful village of Tremolat, with its fabulous restaurants and bistros. It is within an easy drive to Le Bugue, a great market town and Limeuil where the Vezere and the Dordogne rivers meet, the famous town of Sarlat, and the capital of Périgord, Périgueux . Les Chouettes is also near to Les Eyzies where you can visit the famous paleolithic caves of the area.

Outdoor activities are plentiful in Dordogne – canoeing and paddling in the Dordogne River are very popular activities. Boat trips, beaches, bird watching, forest walks or cycles. Visit local museums, gardens and experience what it would have been like to live in a castle, when you visit the Baynac and Castelnau Castles, which are just a few of the many hundreds of castles and chateaux’s in the Dordogne area.
