GOURMET CUISINE IN TREMOLAT

Tremolat for its size has a number of eateries, restaurants and a quaint little wine bar. The one is visiting Tremolat you are definitely not short of a choice.

THE VIEUX LOGIS hotel has a Michelin star restaurant. This award has been presented to their their fantastic chef, Chef Vincent Arnold.     This cosy restaurant was once a tobacco barn.  It offers delicious local cuisine using regional produce which has be carefully selected by Chef Vincent and presented as a beautiful piece of art.  The menus range from 50 Euros for a tapas lunch to 100 Euros for an evening tapas meal.  They also offer an a-la-carte menu.  Bookings: +33 55 32 28 006       Email: vieuxlogis@relaischateaux.com

LE BISTRO DE LA PLACE is located in the charming square of Tremolat.  Recently Chef Yon Masurel has taken over the reigns at the Bistro and is producing some delicious, flavoursome and beautiful looking dishes. The meals are based on our regional cuisine at reasonable prices.  The Bistro offers a 3 course menu as well as an a-la-carte option.  The Bistro is also well known for making the best chips in the area.  Of course they are carefully cooked in duck fat and are delicious!!  Prices range between 17 and 35 Euros excluding wine.  Bookings:  +33 55 32 28 069

Delicious quail served on a bed of asparagus

Delicious magret made in different ways. Note the yummy potato made with garlic and herbs

Enjoy our local cuisine at any of our wonderful restaurants

LES TARTINES is located next to the Bistro in the lovely square of Tremolat.  Les Tartines is rather like a little wine bar.  Its focus is on simple home made food (just like momma used make).  Mostly open sandwiches beautiful perigordian cheeses, cold meats, foie gras as well as a simple desert such as a chocolate tartine.  My favourite meal is the duck patty burger.  It is rather delicious!!!    No bookings needed – first come first serve.            Open April to October.

Don’t miss out on the local foie gras

There is such a vast choice when it comes to local cheese – it all up to your taste
