CHRISTMAS TIME IN THE DORDOGNE VALLEY
Will it snow this Christmas – what a wonderful thought!! The fresh white crispness of snow changes our whole landscape. Should you wish to enjoy a white Christmas in the Dordogne Valley – this year may be the year!
Beautiful garlands, Fir trees dressed in the brightest colours will be a contrast to the perfect scene outside – we can only wish…for a fresh clean look that snow brings to any area.
In the meantime – we are all preparing for those cold days that draw us all to a lovely fire, superb roasted chestnuts, gorgeous stews such as Boeuf a’ la Bourguignonne and Pot-au-Feu (A sumptuous family orientated type meal made with Pork, Chicken, Sausage and vegetables). It is so amazing how every thing changes after the first fall of snow.
